Job Title: Light Industrial Assembler
Department: Production

SUMMARY
Performs repetitive bench or line assembly operations to mass-produce electronic scoreboard assemblies by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Places parts in specified relationship to each other.

Bolts, clips, screws, pop rivet or otherwise fastens parts together.

Tends machines, such as arbor presses or riveting machine, to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line.

Works at different workstations as production needs require.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED required. 2 years of light assembly experience preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS Must be able to understand instructions and convey questions in English. Must be able to read a shop drawing and use data on the drawing to complete a task.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Must be able to use a ruler effectively.

REASONING ABILITY Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions and use them to complete a task.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to lift 75lbs and assist others in lifting large assemblies.

WORK ENVIRONMENT Factory setting.
